LOVELIEST OF PLACES: A Study of the Pre-Mansion Historical Resources of Bidwell Mansion State Historic Park

Greg White has a vision of ways to reconstruct the grounds of the

Bidwell Mansion. He recommends the Park re-construct key buildings and

operate them as “living history features” staffed by rangers.

Greg will share his thoughts and ideas of ways to move forward with a

plan to include different groups. He has co-authored a book with Arlene

Ward, a revision of his previous work released in 2015, and will be

available at the lecture.
