THROUGH THE LENS OF THE WRIGHT-PATRICK RANCH

Behind a fence along the midway, just south of Chico, there s an old

two story house that has witnessed more of Chico’s history than any other

building still in existence. Known as the Wright-Patrick House, it is 14

years older than the better known Bidwell Manson (no longer in existence).

The Write-Patrick Ranch has been forgotten by the community and has

suffered willful neglect.

Rod will talk about the people and the history of the Ranch and give us

a glimpse into Butte County’s colorful past.
