Jim Tanimoto is a life-long resident of California and a citizen of the United States. In 1942 he and his family were taken by our government to Tule Lake, California, where they were interned until the end of the war, due to their Japanese heritage.

Mr. Tanimoto, who is 101 years old, will share his experience and recollections of this part our history. This will be one of the last times he will be giving this program.
