Presenter: Dave Nopel

Dave Nopel will lead a springtime walk from the Chico History Museum and moving to the front lawn of Kendall Hall on the Chico State campus for the story from W. H. Hutchinson, “How Chico Stole the College”.  We will move from there across Chico Creek, where Dave will talk again about “Chico Creek - My Old Favorite”, and then on to the Bidwell Mansion for a “look and learn” about Chico’s most apparent  historic structure. And then walk back to Chico History Museum.  This walk-and-talk will last about 90 minutes, will cover about a mile distance, and there will be some opportunities for seating. Restrooms will be available at Chico History Museum.

Due to popular demand, this event is scheduled to two sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Space is limited so sign up early!

Important: This event may require participants to walk on uneven surface, and on public streets. Wear comfortable walking shoes, appropriate clothing, and hat. Bring water to drink.
