Doug Williams has been in Chico since the age of two, went through the Chico Public Schools, and graduated from Chico High School in 1986. After earning his Bachelor's degree in History/Economics from U.C. Davis, Doug returned to Chico State to complete his Master's Degree in Education with a California Administrative Credential, and during this time, he became interested in the Titan Missile Base that had once been located just north of Chico. The base was one of three Titan I Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) bases constructed in Northern California in the late 1950's - early 1960's during the Cold War. Today, Doug Williams is the Principal of his alma mater Chico High School, and he will present the story of the Chico Missile Base.
