The Jonesville Hotel is the only stagecoach stop that still exists on the old Humboldt Road. The road was commissioned by General John Bidwell in 1863 as a toll road to Susanville, and Jonesville soon became a retreat for Chico settlers in the hot summer months.

Chico History Museum and the Jonesville Cabin Owners have collaborated to take you on a journey through time at their beautiful, historic, newly preserved Jonesville Hotel located in Jonesville, California.  Join us for a family-friendly country picnic at Jonesville to commemorate the history of Jonesville Hotel, and, recently, its role during the devastating Dixie Fire.

Ticket includes an Old Fashioned Picnic Lunch, a Guided Tour of Jonesville Hotel, and Presentations by notable speakers and authors. Picnic Lunch will be prepared by the Jonesville Cabin Owners, vegetarian option is available.

Parking is limited. Carpooling is encouraged. Please note that due to its historic nature, Jonesville Hotel and its grounds is not yet ADA accessible.
