Speaker Paul Lieberum and Liz Stewart

Paul Lieberum and Liz Stewart will co-present this program on Chico’s long-standing southwest neighborhood.  Named after The Diamond Match Company’s manager O. C. Barber, today the Barber neighborhood takes in both sides of Park Avenue and from Little Chico Creek on the north to Comanche Creek on the south.  Both Paul and Liz are residents of the Barber, and have contributed significantly to the research of their neighborhood and to Chico in general through their work with Chico Heritage Association.  Come and find out about the horse track, early hotels, The Diamond Match, distinctive homes, a possible hospital, and more.  They will accompany their program with projected pictures.
