Debbie Meline from RESPECT THE WALLS and Daniel Bringoff with CHICO COMMUNITY WATCH will speak about the challenges, successes, and rewards their organizations have experienced as both organizations have worked to bring positive change to the Chico community.

Both groups have seen positive changes happen with involvement, with that often-difficult "first step" perhaps the most difficult in reaching for change. Both groups have brought their efforts to the goal of cleaning up and reclaiming the old Humboldt Road east of Chico, and positive efforts are clearly being effected.

RESPECT THE WALLS appeared before the Chico City Council on September 18 and is in the process of listing the rock walls in the Chico area and the Humboldt Road wagon ruts on the City of Chico's Historic Registry.

The presenters will use pictures to illustrate their story, and there is a strong possibility that their program will include another mesmerizing Jeremy Sabelman drone video of the rock walls about Chico.
