JOHN BIDWELL: BREAKING BARRIERS OR IMPOSING THEM Presented by Neil Bajaj on December 04, 2021 In 2020, Chico High School student Neil Bajaj won California state recognition for his Senior Division essay, “John Bidwell: Breaking Barriers or Imposing Them - John Bidwell’s relationship with his indigenous workforce”. Neil has been a volunteer at Chico History Museum, and he built his essay from Bidwell source materials and interviews with several local Bidwell historians.
